Katherine L. Price, 1937-2003, Sedalia

Katherine L. Price, 66, of Sedalia, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at her home.

She was born Jan. 24, 1937, in Bendavis, a daughter of Clifford and Velma Shelley Price.

Miss Price lived and worked as a child-care provider in Higginsville and Independence. She moved to Sedalia where she worked for Tyson and the Sheltered Workshop. She loved her pets and was an avid Chiefs fan. An outgoing person, she enjoyed being with others and liked spending time at Leisure Park.

Surviving are a brother, Clifford Price, of Sedalia, and a sister, Molly Hill, of Mansfield.

She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Bobbie Price and Frank Price.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Russell Willoughby officiating.

Pallbearers will be Alan Price, Lisa Bryant, Erle Price, Johnnie Price, Rebecca Offenburger and Herman Offenburger.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Visitations will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Shelter Work Shop of to the charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral chapel.
